'Fidayeen attack is martyrdom operation,' justifies Delhi bomber in video

Latest

Dozens of Kashmiri Muslim doctors were taken into custody for questioning in the Delhi blast case and almost all of them have been released by the police after questioning. No evidence was found against them linking them to any of the blast suspects.

The Jammu and Kashmir police have recovered a mobile phone of the Red Fort suicide bomber, Dr Umar-un-Nabi, and the extracted data has provided chilling evidence to show that he had prepared a video justifying the suicide attack as a 'martyrdom operation'.

New Delhi:

A week after a blast near Delhi's iconic Red Fort claimed 13 lives, a self-recorded and undated video of the bomber, Dr Umar Mohammad alias Umar-un-Nabi, has emerged. In what is arguably the first peek into the thought process of Delhi bomber Dr Umar Mohammad alias Umar-un-Nabi, the video shows him talking about suicide bombing and "martyrdom".

Demolishing a home won’t deliver “punishment” it only inflicts collective suffering: Aga Ruhullah Mehdi

Making an entire family homeless during the harsh winter of Kashmir without evidence/court order or any law linking them to the incident is an act of cruelty. It doesn’t bring justice to the innocent lives that we lost in the terror attack, and it doesn’t achieve the ends of justice.

Hold the actual perpetrators accountable through lawful investigation. Mass detentions, coercive interrogations, and illegal demolitions will not bring peace, they will drag Kashmir back by decades.
