Lt. Col. Umer Fayaz, the slain Army Lt Got A Brother, Parents Gave Him His Name

KULGAM: Seemingly, it is a reincarnation with a twist. The parents of Lt. Col. Shaheed Umar Fayaz, the slain Indian army lieutenant, were blessed with a boy today. They did not think twice and gave him their slain son’s name: Umar Fayaz.

Umer Fayaz Parray, 22, a resident of Sursandu, Kulgam, was kidnapped by suspected militants on May 9, 2017. He had gone to attend the wedding ceremony at his relatives home in Batpora Mantribug when three masked men took him away.

Next morning, he was recovered dead in the bus stand at Herman, a major village – now a tehsil, located between Sadsuna and Mantribug. As the residents drove him to the hospital, the doctor identified him and declared him brought dead.

The 22-year-old Umar Fayaz was survived by his parents Fayaz Parray and Jameela and two sisters. Less than a year after his killing, a brother was born to him. His parents gave the newborn his name: Umar Fayaz.

Umar Fayaz Jr was born in the district hospital Kulgam. Officials confirmed the birth saying the baby and the mother are doing fine. Fayaz, his father, is around.

“Thank God, I have a son whom I gave the name of my beloved son whom I lost,” Fayaz Ahmad Parray, the father of the kid, said. “It was a caesarean delivery. We admitted her to the hospital at 10 am and by 12 noon, the baby was born.”

Jameela, the mother, is being taken care of by her daughter, the younger sister of slain Umar Fayaz. “I had to give up my studies because of my brother,” she said. “I would have completed the graduation, only last year.” Her sister, however, is in the twelfth class.

A student of Navodaya Vidyalaya’s branch that operates from Ashmuquam in South Kashmir, Umer Fayaz He graduated from the Jawaharlal Nehru University in New Delhi in 2015. He belonged to the 129th batch of cadets from Pune-based National Defence Academy. He was commissioned into the army on December 10, 2016. This was his first time that he proceeded on leave in his short carrier from Akhnoon, where his unit 2-Rajputana Rifles was deployed. He never returned.

The management later retained him on the plea of his father.

Post-2016 unrest, Umar Fayaz has become part of the narrative that Delhi has been building on Kashmir. In September 2017, Ms Paulomi Tripathi, First Secretary at India’s UN mission, showed pictures of Lt Umar Fayaz at UN General Assembly to counter Pakistan argument on Kashmir.

This is a real and not a fake picture of Lt. Umar Faiyaz, a young officer from the Indian State of Jammu and Kashmir.  Umar Faiyaz was kidnapped at a wedding celebration. He was brutally tortured and killed by Pakistan supported terrorists in May 2017.”

Interestingly, early this week, the army announced that two militants who were part of the group that kidnapped and killed Umar Fayaz were killed in Dragad, near Sugan.

The Commander of Srinagar based 15 Corps; Lt Gen AK Bhatt said the death of Lt Umar Fayaz, who was brutally killed in Shopian in 2017, had been avenged. “Among the militants killed are Ishfaq Malik and Rayees Thokar. They were responsible for his death,” Bhatt said.

Three days later, Umar Fayaz was born again. Reincarnation?

"In the last days, when Muslims will be defeated from all sides,
There will be constant wars,
The regime of Christians will be established in Syria,
The scholars have heard that
Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Turkey will not remain forever
Everywhere the oppression of the infidels will increase,
The Ummah will suffer from your civil war.
In Saudi Arabia (Saudi countries, Saudi Arabia etc.), there will be no regular government of the Muslims,
Khyber / Khabar (near Saudi Arabia's small town is far from 170 miles from Madinah-Al-Manrah)
And in this place their government will be established, the established Muslims will reach Madinah al-Munawarah,
Imam Mahdi (may Allaah be pleased with him) will be in Madina Manora.

On the other side the river class is also drying fast, which will dry before the appearance of Mahdi.

Therefore, when the Middle East conditions look at the conditions of Muslims and the whole world, it is clear that the world is moving towards Hollywood,
After the attacks in France, France and the Pope have also spoken of a global war.
If the question arises
Which region will be the center of this global war ...?
It seems clear, the Middle East is expected ....!

Cross LOC trade and drug racket

Through discussions started May 2008 the launch of cross LOC trade in August 30,2008 was times to appease Kashmir Valley just ahead of assembly elections.In summer 2008 Jammu and Kashmir passed through crisis, perhaps the worst for India in 50 years. Kashmir valley erupted one on the transfer of a piece of land to a temple trust on two counts-the some sections of the Kashmir valley saw it as a government sponsored attempt to change the demographic profile of the Valley while  others based their opposition on ecological concerns.Under pressure,the state government rescinded the land allotment order leading to an immediate and violent backlash in Jammu and other parts of northern India.Hundreds of thousands of people in Kashmir valley vented their anger against India and took a APHC leaders laid by sambolic march to the Line of Control demonstrating for connections with in POK as the Amarnath disturbances had blocked the National Highway  through Jammu.17 protesters including frientline JKPL-Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Leauge chairman, Mr. Sheikh Abdul Aziz were killed. The Government, it seems, has not learnt any lessons from the 2008 agitation. In response to Hurriyat call, eight  lakh people (as per rough estimates) assembled at Pampore at the Rasam-e-qul (last rites) of slain Hurriyat leader, Sheikh Abdul Aziz. He was killed in Baramulla district while marching towards Muzaffarabad. The separatists could not manage the gathering. The microphones did not work and people did not hear what the leaders were saying from an elevated podium.

In Jammu local Hindu dominated business community called for complete snapping of trade ties with Kashmir.In such a surcharged atmosphere New Delhi felt strong pressure from Indian civil society and therefore immediately started taking about cross-LoC trade between Srinagar and Muzafarabad to ease tension in Kashmir Valley. Jammu saw this as weak appeasement or surrender  by Delhi to separatists pressure,while the Kashmir Valley saw it as the start of  lasting resoulation of the Kashmir dispute.

New Delhi feared Kashmir Valley would not vote in legislative assembly elections announced its go-ahead. A delegation of traders from Muzafarabad was invited to visit Kashmir and then Jammu. But Mr Syed Ali Shah Gilani and other separatists called the proposal a cosmetic measure to deviate attention from core issue. However it was largely welcomed in the Valley. A 23-member traders delegation from Muzafarabad was warmly welcomed in Srinagar even though the government and civil society groups where the atmosphere was surcharged by the Hindu temple land row.

He said the department has planted 40,000 Chinar saplings in Jammu during last one year.

He claimed that the fund allocation for the forest sector in the State is highly inadequate, which amounts to 0.04 percent of the total state budget.

He added that there is a requirement of around Rs 10,000 crore for treating 9,00,000 hectares of the degraded forest area of the State and at the rate of present funding, it will take more than 350 years to rehabilitate the degraded forest area.

A farmer in South Kashmir area of Pulwama district, Mahmood Khan, who had taken up cultivation of exotic fruits more than a decade back, said, "We started growing kiwi on experimental basis some 9 years ago. There were hardly any buyers for it then. But our patience has paid off, as now, the demand for it has risen in fruit markets of India, Pakistan, Gulf, and other middle-east countries. It fetches good returns in local market also and tourists also like to buy these."

The Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) has paid glorious tributes to Hurriyat leader, Sheikh Abdul Aziz ahead of his 9th martyrdom anniversary.

A DFP spokesperson in a statement issued in Srinagar said the number of martyrs is increasing with each passing day. He said martyrs by rising above fear and greed have taught a lesson that one should prefer death with honour than life with dishonour.

Paying tributes to Shaheed-e-Azemat Sheikh Abdul Aziz and all other Kashmiri martyrs, the spokesperson said the struggle for right to self-determination will continue till peaceful resolution of Kashmir dispute. “Kashmir is a political issue and needs to be resolved in a political way,” he added.

He also expressed grief over the loss of lives and properties across th valley in last few days and said until Kashmir is not resolved, this bloodshed will continue.
Hurriyat leader, Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi addressing a function in Srinagar in connection with the 9th martyrdom death anniversary of Sheikh Abdul Aziz, said that the 2008 agitation was the turning point towards Kashmir dispute when people of all walks of life took to streets and it was a referendum towards India’s illegal occupation and economic blockade.

He said Kashmir issue has entered a final stage and it is need of the hour to show unity among the ranks .of Hurriyat leadership.

He said solidarity will be expressed with martyrs of Kashmir on the day.

The function was also attended by Shakeel-ur-Rehman, Muhammad Maqbool, Ghulam Muhammad Mir, Tahoor Sidiqi, Advocate Abdul Ahad Qadri, Rouf Aasmi, Omer Khalid and Molvi Javaid.

A farmer in South Kashmir area of  Pulwama district, Mahmood Khan, who had taken up cultivation of exotic fruits more than a decade back, said, "We started growing kiwi on experimental basis some 9 years ago. There were hardly any buyers for it then. But our patience has paid off, as now, the demand for it has risen in fruit markets of  India, Pakistan, Gulf, and other middle-east countries. It fetches good returns in local market also and tourists also like to buy these."
